Susan concentrates her practice primarily on the representation of financial institutions, private debt and equity lenders, investment bankers and borrowers in real estate and commercial financial transactions, including loan documentation, acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, loan sales, asset-based lending, inter-creditor finance structuring, public finance, work-outs, settlements, special assets and various banking matters. Susan's experience also includes construction, hospitality and mezzanine financing, private placements, corporate governance and general corporate affairs.
Prior to entering into private practice, Susan served as in-house counsel for a California state chartered bank, documenting and negotiating complex financial transactions, handling special assets, foreclosures, REO sales, loan workouts, loan sales and settlements, providing regulatory advice and assisting with general legal and compliance matters.
